As ever artist should, I've been painting for holiday gift giving. I've also been painting to fill the down time here at the shop. Business tends to dissipate during the time of the year when hazardous driving conditions find their ways between the tattoo-ees and the tattoo-ers. Regardless, here is a painting fresh from the brush. I approached this one from outside of my typical methods; softer brush strokes, a wider variety of blending, etc. I purposely enlarged the head to give myself the notion that I was still in control while figuring out these different techniques.
